Rendezvous is not pronounced as ren-dez-vous but ron-day vooand the t at the end of bon appetite is silent.englihas borrowed several phrasesfrom the french language,yet we have a hard time pronouncing them.Probably the most difficult thing while speaking french is to know which alphabets not to pronounce. Fexample,in the most cases the letter e at the end of a word is not pronounced,like in brunette. While most of the consonants pronounced like in english,d,n,p,r,s,t,x are usually not pronouced when located at the end of a word like in coup,pronouced koo.It may all seem a little confusing at first , with proper training and you too can speak french like a native.
